/Personal / Viaje a la Sombra
There is a space between light and shadow where reality fades and beauty reveals itself, delicate, unsettling, timeless. I photograph from the edge of light, searching for the sublime through a minimal palette and a dreamlike gaze. These images speak in whispers, of melancholy and elegance, of violence and stillness. They don’t document: they suggest. This is a quiet journey through nuance, silence, and emotion. A personal language that turns away from the obvious and toward the subconscious, where beauty emerges from darkness and meaning takes shape beyond the literal. It’s not about what we see, but what we experience. A dream. A memory. A sensation.
/Personal / Forma
Forma explores the body from a state of prejudice-free curiosity.
The nude is one of my main themes and the choice of non-normative subjects seeks new ways of looking at the body and going deeper into the hardware of the human being, contained and -perhaps- also defined by its body. Blurring the limits between still life, portrait, abstraction and classic nude, I find myself in a space where rules seem to disappear and where I can investigate with fascination the possibilities of aesthetic so-called ‘imperfection’ as the main subject.
/Personal / Body Sketches
Unlike “Viaje a la Sombra”, where the images are carefully composed and the dark tones richly render a scene or an idea, here I let the model and the camera’s shutter speed „decide“ what’s going to be the final image: charcoal-like strokes waiting to be discovered, fanciful accidents given by pure chance. I literally have no idea what I’m going to get (she’s improvising as well) and it’s a quite satisfying exercise on letting go and trusting whatever comes. It’s “time” in a picture, “space” occupied by the subject’s moving body for maybe half a second.

/Personal / Petroleum
The dancers’ bodies -covered in black bodypaint- pose and move in front of a white background describing rhythm, delicacy and blunt strength. They are living statues, testimonies of strength, dedication and hard work. “Petroleum” arises from such idea, making both the dancers bodies and the pictures an exercise on straightforward graphic force.
/Personal / Multi
“Multi” is the logical consequence of beauty photography and my interest in form, expression and even identity.
A beauty gets deformed in flesh and color stained skin and turns into something histrionic, ugly and beautiful at the same time. The impression of movement is also there, as the collage shows different moments in the still image.
I want the viewer to reexamine the illusion of beauty and hopefully my idea that "too much" gets in the way of enjoyment, as a beautiful young face turns into something else through juxtaposition.
